COVID19 policy

This policy undergoes monthly review

Purpose and Scope

This plan aims to outline the measures we are taking to limit the risk and spread of coronavirus at the Edinburgh Green Film Festival. It applies to all staff and visitors at our physical (in-person) events. We kindly ask you to follow these procedures diligently, to keep yourself and others safe. This plan is subject to change in line with updates to government guidelines and is under constant review.

What We Are Doing

We have undertaken a full COVID-19 risk assessment to ensure the safety of all our staff and guests. Based on this, we will be enforcing strict capacities and seating arrangements based on the physical distancing guidance at the time of the event. Staff and volunteers will ensure appropriate hygiene procedures are carried out before, during and after the event. Hand sanitiser will be available upon entering the venue. All staff and volunteers will be required to fill out health declaration forms prior to the event. All staff will be required to wear a mask unless exempt under government guidance.

What We Ask Of You

We ask that if you begin to feel unwell with symptoms of coronavirus or have been told to self-isolate, that you do not, under any circumstances, attend our in-person events. Under these circumstances, we encourage you to contact us prior to the event beginning. We ask that all of our guests make use of the hand sanitiser provided upon entering and leaving the event and that they wear a mask unless exempt under government guidance. We encourage all guests to book tickets in advance to help maintain correct physical distancing. We encourage all guests to follow all government and local COVID-19 public guidance in addition to the procedures in this plan.
